Mahjong 101— The Essentials
Designed for beginners to learn the fundamentals and rules of play. Returning students often benefit from repeating Mahjong 101 to reinforce their grasp of this intricate and rewarding game.
Mahjong 102 —Building Confidence
Designed for the player already familiar with the elements of the game, the many parts, pieces, rules of play, the deal, and The Charleston. This class works on building confidence in The Charleston and picking the perfect line as well as other game strategies. Attending a series of Mahjong 102 lessons is a common practice for better understanding and commitment to memory the many rules of play.
Don't sink! Learn to swim with sharks under the watchful eye of your LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!
You've learned the basics in Mahjong 101, built your confidence in Mahjong 102, and now you're ready to dive into social play! We are here with a lifeguard on duty!
You'll play with other beginners and receive gentle guidance and reminders along the way.
Mahjong 103 - Level Up!
You’ve learned the basics (Mahjong 101), built your confidence (Mahjong 102), and now you’re ready to dive in to play — but don’t worry, there’s still a lifeguard on duty!
Prerequisite: Completion of Mahjong 101 and Mahjong 102 is required.
Increase your pace of play and get confident with The Charleston! Mahjong 103 class series works on building confidence in choosing what to pass during The Charleston, picking the perfect line, and other game strategies. Attending a series of guided play is a common practice for increasing speed and developing sureness in the rules of the game.

Enjoy a Private Lesson with our Beach Mahj lead instructor and with hands-on instruction tailored to your group’s experience level — whether you’re brand new to the game or ready to level up your strategy. All materials are provided — tiles, racks, mats, and NMJL cards — everything you need for a fun and stress-free Mahjong experience.
Private lessons are $75 per person (minimum of 4 players), and each participant may pay individually using the host or group name once we have confirmed the date and time of the lesson. Perfect for ladies’ trips, small gatherings, or 30A vacation fun — we bring the tiles, the laughter, and the coastal charm right to you!

At your vacation rental or home in the 30A area. Perfect for bachelorette trips, family gatherings, and girls’ getaways! Private lessons work best with 2–12 players for personalized instruction, support, and plenty of hands-on practice. We bring everything — the tiles, the setup, and the FUN!

Teamwork, tile-strong. Enhance bonding, communication & morale with a Mahjong experience tailored to your group. We own 30+ complete Mahjong setups, making us fully equipped to host corporate retreats, club gatherings, client entertainment, and private celebrations of any size.
